We carry out forest tending works — cleaning, thinning and sanitation felling — according to the forest management plan and in coordination with the forest district office.

Silvicultural works: cleaning, thinning and stand tending

For private and managed forests

We work as a contractor for private forest owners and forest districts. A forest tended on time grows healthier and is worth more at harvest.

Cleaning, thinning, sanitation felling

Cleaning means interventions in young stands to remove poorly formed trees. Thinning takes out a share of the trees to make room for the future crop trees. Sanitation felling removes dry, broken or pest-infested trees.

According to the management plan

All works follow the forest management plan and the official tree marking — the trees to be removed are decided together with the forest district office, never at random.

Team and machinery

We use teams specialised in tending works and machinery suited to low-impact interventions — the same German standards we apply to all Galle jobs.

Documents

Works on forest land are carried out with forestry services provided through the forest district; the resulting material leaves with SUMAL-generated transport documents. We guide you through the whole process.
